Do I need a Boat license to rent a boat?A North Carolina Boating License is required for anyone born on or after January 1, 1988 who operates a powered watercraft of 10 HP or more on state waters. For more information on boat license requirements, consult the North Carolina boating laws and regulations.All our boats are over 10hp but if you get a captian you will not need to worry about this or any else for the day!

Do I need insurance to rent a boat?No and we will walk you through the details but we have you covered! You can also add the boat or RV to your policy for additional savings that we will explain in detail if this is somehting your intrested in as well. You are responsable for all property damage as mentioned in our contracts.

Do you drop off Rental boats?We bring the boat to you! You choose from 3 locations on the north side of Lake Norman that are all north of the 150 bridge: Waterside Bar and Grill’s Launch Ramp, Pinnacle access launch ramp (by Apps and Taps) or Lake Norman state park Boat Launch ramp. We arrive by water and pick you and your group up, do a 30min safety training while also showing you how to use the boat properly and the test is you drop us back off at the dock with out any issues. If you have requested a captain, it gets easier because the captain will pick you up as stated above and take you out for the day after a quick safety meeting.

Do I need to fill up the gas when I return the boat?Yes, You need to return it with the same fuel you had upon pick up and we will give you several locations to choose from on the water. If your short upon return we will deduct the amount from your security deposit at street rate +20%

Do we have to pay a deposit?A $50 Deposit is required once you have spoken to a teammate that confirms that the date you requested is available. (No payment required until your date is confirmed-Check out using “offline Payment” and You will receive a call or Email within 24 hours to secure your date with a $50 deposit invoice) A $50 Deposit is required once you have spoken to a teammate that confirms that the date you requested is available. A $500 deposit and your full rental payment is required 48 hours prior to the day of your rental booking while the $500 deposit can take up to 5 working days to see the hold removed from this charge.
